Jerome K. Thorson has joined   1stAdvisory, Ltd. as Managing Director based in Dubai, UAE. 

Mr. Thorson has more than 30 years experience in Consulting, IT planning and operations, IT Outsourcing and business management.  He was employed with EDS in a variety of technical and management positions for 28 years. 

Mr. Thorson has operated in and managed sales, marketing, and delivery functions for technology companies in Asia, Europe, Mexico, and the Middle East.

Mr. Thorson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Marketing from the Regis University, Denver, Colorado, USA.

Selected Relevant Experience includes:

  • Organizational Development - Developed global service delivery teams as well as developing and coaching management personnel.

  • Managing International Joint Venture - Successfully built a $500 million per year joint venture in Asia from a $2 million investment, engaged in outsourcing services.

  •  Strategic Planning - Created scores of business plans for international companies.

  • Vendor Management - Managed international vendor relationships with technology, service, and product suppliers.
